Courtney works full time in loan servicing at a bank. She is a P.O.S. artist, creating signage for businesses & displays and loves to read, travel & drink wine.
Courtney enjoys competing at a wide range of distances but considers her sweet spot 50 miles & up. She is a 2x Olympic Trials Qualifier in the Marathon, has made 6 US World Teams (50K, 100K), and is a 2x gold medalist at Comrades. In 2024 she broke the 50 Mile World Record which stood for over 30 years, held by Ann Trason, in 5:31:56. In 2025 she won the US 50K Championships, setting the CR, and went on to run the 100K American Record, another which stood for over 30 years by Ann Trason, becoming one of only 2 women ever to break 7:00 at the distance.
