Alyson works as the Vice President of Operations for NorthStar Medical Specialists while competing at a high level in obstacle course racing. She ran the 100m hurdles in high school and was a gymnast for 13 years before becoming a nationally ranked All-American diver in college. She returned to endurance sports in ’13, completing her first half & full marathon, and qualifying for the Boston Marathon in her debut at the distance. She later transitioned into OCR, where her speed, strength & technical background translated quickly. Since entering the sport, she has earned over 18 podium finishes, consistently placing in the top 3 across competitive fields. She continues to compete at the elite level while balancing a demanding professional and family life.

Outside of racing, Alyson is a wife to Joel and a proud mom to Jethro, who keeps her moving just as much as training & life does. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, with a long-term passion for leadership, mentorship & supporting others both in and out of sport.

When she’s not training or working, Alyson enjoys snowboarding, biking, outdoor recreation, and spending time with her family.
